Financial data stays on your device

tallyvero reads spreadsheet files and performs reconciliation in your browser. Spreadsheet bytes, filenames, supplier names, references, amounts, descriptions, dates, raw rows, mapping choices and reconciliation results are not sent to tallyvero servers.

Data we process

We receive ordinary web-server information such as IP address, request time, path and user agent for security and operation. We may receive strictly validated, aggregate product events. A random analytics identifier is created only if you choose “Allow analytics”; withdrawing consent deletes it from your browser. We use necessary storage to remember your privacy choice.

Purposes, rights and retention

Operational information is used to secure and deliver the service. Optional persistent analytics is based on your consent. Raw analytics and operational logs are targeted for deletion within 30 days; anonymous daily totals may be retained for product planning. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or object where applicable, and may complain to your local supervisory authority.

Processors and international access

Cloudflare provides network and security services. Hosting is provided by YOUR VPS PROVIDER. Their processing locations and safeguards depend on the selected service configuration. We do not sell personal data.

Audience and contact

tallyvero is intended for business and professional users, not children. Do not email spreadsheets or financial records. Describe the problem without attaching files. We will update this notice when processing changes.

Free allowance metadata

To operate the 25-free-reconciliations-per-day allowance, tallyvero sends a random first-party usage identifier and coarse completion timestamps to its backend. This metadata does not include filenames, supplier names, references, amounts, mapped columns or spreadsheet contents.
